Here is the way ...

Wow. I totally forgot to journal last night. Weird. I even have very exciting things to journal about. Double weird. Therefore, in no particular order:

1. COLE WON FIRST PLACE IN THE SCIENCE FAIR! He won for the primary grades (K-3), the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders get judged separately. But, HOLY MOLY! Cole won first place! I'm so terribly proud of him and I told everybody at work yesterday when I found out. /mom moment

2. My best friend (not malkovich03, but Megan) had her baby on Tuesday the 12th. His name is Riley and he was a substantial 8 lbs 10 ozs. Cole was less than 7 lbs so anything more than that seems substantial to me. If she has any time to read this what with being a new mom again, CONGRATULATIONS, MEGAN!

3. I'm heading over to jenahville's as soon as I can pry Cole out of the shower. He does like his long showers. I'm sure he doesn't get that from me. Sure. Anyway. I'm hoping I can catch up on some of my shows from the week (I'm seriously behind again) and watch White Noise 2.

4. I have many things to do on my vacation - Buy my new bookcase, read, watch movies, read, have my hair done, read, drink coffee ... this list could go on, but I don't want to give myself too many things that I feel obligated to do. o_O

5. Book #24 - Dark Hunger by Christine Feehan - This is the graphic novelization of the book of the same name. It was good, but they could have made it a little more R-rated. If you know what I mean. I guess I'm saying that it didn't really blow me away. Not like the gorgeous graphic novel for Guilty Pleasures. I'm halfway through my next book.

I have to get my stuff together so that Cole and I can head out soon. Later!

that's pretty darn awesome, 1st place! so what was his science project? accidently built a time machine in your garage so he could go back in time and play the Wii all day while his double has to go to school...ok this is almost as confusing as the movie 'primer'.

Close. He tested batteries to see if the name brands were better than the generic brands. It was pretty cool.

Woot! Yay Cole. That's awesome. I hope you and Jenn had a nice visit. I'm feeling a little better today. I hope to make it to the next get together. :)

We did have a nice visit. We ended up catching up on the shows from this week the we hadn't watched yet. It was pretty mellow. And fun. Plus, now I'm caught up on my shows!
