Before I forget ... Book #24 (of 50) - Damia's Children by Anne McCaffrey - This book takes place about 16 years after Damia and focuses (obviously, I would think) on her children, all of whom will be integral in fighting off another invasion by the Hive and maintaining good relations with the one other alien civilization who have survived a Hive onslaught. Being that the bulk of the story takes place on a Navy vessel, the book is much more technical than the preceeding ones. This is also the first book in this series that focuses on multiple main characters.
Okay. Amb and I went shopping today at the outlets in Gilroy. I bought earrings. *is proud* I've been toying with buying new earrings for a while but never seemed to get around to actually doing it. So, today I did. I also renewed my antivirus subscription for another year and bought my grandma a birthday present. Oh, and I broke down a bought a new long sweater from Victoria's Secret. I couldn't resist. It's on clearance and it's camel, which will go so nicely with the clothes I bought earlier in the year. Excellent.
Tomorrow, the fam (minus Heather, but including Phil, Amb and everyone else) is trekking up to Santa Cruz to hang out on the beach and have fun at the Boardwalk. Wheee! Don't worry, I'm bringing plenty of sunscreen.
You know what? A hamburger sounds so delicious right now. Yummy.
