I did a lot of things today. Not all of them involved reading. But some of them did ...
Book #65 - The Body in the Library by Agatha Christie - Another quick read. In fact, I read the bulk of it while having my hair done. I liked this one. I think I prefer the Poirot books but these are still quite satisfying. That said, mystery, murder, mayhem! Oh, my! Yes, once again I didn't guess who did the deed. I'm predictable like that.
The one thing I really, really wanted to get done today didn't happen. I wanted to turn in the paperwork to enroll Cole in his new school. Unfortunately the deadline for turning it in at the district office has passed and now I have to wait until August 1st and enroll him at the school itself. Annoying. I wanted to get that out of the way. Hmmph. Since there's nothing I can do, I'll just wait until the 1st.
I also managed to buy Cole the comforter set he wanted. The Target by our house had it in everything except twin. I struck gold at the Target in Morgan Hill (conveniently located down the street from our new house) and snapped it up before anyone else could! Hee! This also gave Cole and I the chance to drive by the new place (which you can see from the street) and I pointed it out to him and tried to point out his window and some other fun things.
I've decided that tomorrow I'm going to do some serious cleaning. It's time. My room is starting to scare me. Badly. However, if it's too hot (which I think it may be) I might take Cole to the movies. Maybe. It depends. Probably. I'm not sure.
I have one more episode of Torchwood season 1. ONE.MORE. I can do it. I can. Then I can start on Pysch season 2 which I broke down and bought today.
Awesome.
