I have comments to catch up on but I wanted to journal quickly before I had to jet back to work for my overnighter at the branch. Fun.

Book # 56 - The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney - It kinda scares me how well [livejournal.com profile] oddmonster knows me. She recced me 8 or 9 books the last time I begged for some and every single one that I've read I really, really like. This books revolves around the seventh son of a seventh son who's destined to be a Spook, a man who watches over their county and keeps it safe from witches, boggarts and ghosts. Thoroughly captivating story. I'm only upset that I have to wait a bit for the next in the series to come out.

[livejournal.com profile] oddmonster also asked that I tell her what books I bought on my last Amazon buying spree. Okay.
Safe Harbor by Christine Feehan and The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney, both of which I've now read.
Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer because [livejournal.com profile] neversince raved about them. Plus? Vampires.
Conspiracy Game and Deadly Game by Christine Feehan, the next two in one of the various series I'm reading.
Threshold by Caitlin R. Kiernan because Odd recced it. :)
The Dream-Hunter by Christine Feehan, another series I've been following since the beginning.

I also picked up the two Kelly Clarkson CDs (which I talked about in my last post), two Hannah Fury CDs (Best.Name.Ever.) and the new Feist CD. Feist? I really like her voice, but I don't love all the songs. Still, her voice is lovely.

It's possible I've gone on long enough.
Then again ...
