I thought the heat was supposed to abate a bit today. I'm pretty sure it's hotter today than it was yesterday morning. Grr. To top it off, Cole's been sick since 4:30 this morning. I've been up for many hours already. Wonderful.

So, one of the things I'm trying to do is journal earlier in the day. I'm trying to make it a habit so that I can (a) get myself on a bit of a writing schedule (even if it's just journal writing at this point) and (b) stay off those damn Facebook games. Those things are the biggest time suckers in the history of forever.

Anyway. Here I am. Writing up my journal in the AM.

I did manage to finish the book I only had 10 pages left on last night.
Book #86 - The Mystery of the Brass Bound Trunk by Carolyn Keene - It's amazing how much better this book was from the last one. It felt much more cohesive and not as coincidental. Which isn't to say that coincidences didn't happen because those are a mainstay in Nancy Drew books. In other words, I liked this book loads more than the last one. Oh, the story? Nancy and her friends track down a smuggling ring in South America. For real.

The other day I had the urge to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy (which followed my Matrix trilogy, which both have Hugo Weaving in them ... I'm having a Hugo Weaving-a-thon) and I can now say that I have watched almost the entire thing. I'm a little more than halfway through the 3rd movie. Awesome! Go me and my mad movie watching skills!

I think I'm done now.
I may be back later. I just don't know.

I think it IS going to be hotter today than yesterday. I'm not happy about it either.
Hugo Weaving plays King Elrond, and the bad guy in Matrix..yes?
I'm sorry to hear Cole is sick. THAT SUCKS.
But is your jewelry still salty?

Yep, Hugo Weaving was Agent Smith in the Matrix trilogy and Elrond in the LotR trilogy. Awesome!
