Uggh. So yesterday's upset tummy turned into me not being able to crawl out of bed for any extended length of time today because I was sure I was going to puke up things I'd eaten last month. It was not enjoyable. At.All. I've eaten bread today, people. Bread. Well, actually it was toast, but I ate pretty much that and nothing else. fun.
This leads me to my amusing dinner story. Come to think of it, it wasn't amusing at the time. It was gross. Anyway. My mom was making Southwest egg rolls or something along those lines and she was in the middle of mixing the filling when I came into the kitchen to make myself some tea. She said that I turned green. GREEN! I felt like I turned green. When she asked me what was wrong, I said, "Don't take this the wrong way, but the food smells sweaty." *blink blink* I had to further clarify and tell her that it actually smelled more like a stinky, sour sponge. It was a seriously nasty smell.
Needless to say, I didn't eat dinner tonight. I'm just glad my mom wasn't mortally offended by me telling her that her food smells like a sour sponge.
Anyway. I finished a book.
Book #83 - The Sign of the Twisted Candles by Carolyn Keene - Another Nancy can solve it all mystery. Sometimes when I write these up I think it sounds like I don't like these books, but obviously I do or I wouldn't keep reading them. It just amuses me that Nancy can do anything. Literally. Anything. She can fix her own car. She can drive like an Indy driver. She can rescue the downtrodden. She's like Superman in a skirt. Yes, I've already started the next in the series. What of it?
I also finished my Matrix re-watch. Simply because I didn't get out of bed today. I don't know if I should admit this, but I also watched The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and part of Fellowship of the Ring. See? I did nothing today. Except watch movies and sleep a lot. I didn't even finish that book today. I did that last night.
Okay. Enough about my nothingness.
I'm out to watch more FotR. Word.
