I had a kinda weird day. Cole decided not to go with his dad to Carmel which meant that I wasn't going to be able to see Star Trek as I had planned. I still don't know why Cole refuses to see it, but he does. Anyway. I asked Cole if he wanted to see Terminator Salvation and he was all gung-ho about it. So, we drafted
iron_knife into going with us and jaunted off to the theater. I really liked the movie, but Cole said that they could have done it better. I stand by the fact that I like it. I have a itty-bitty crush on Sam Worthington now and would gladly watch him again. Immediately. Also, that Christian Bale guy was pretty good. :P
Oh, and just to be clear, I did see the plot holes that popped up here and there and the things that happened that were just silly (umm ... where did the dry wood for the fire come from after the DRIVING rain? Yeah.) and I was still highly entertained by it. Plus, it moves my Terminator movies forward into a time of broken cities and you should know by now that I LOVE broken cities.
When I got home from the movies I was tiiiirrrrred and took a nap that I couldn't wake up from. It was awesome. Then Cole grilled the two of us some hot dogs (For real! He was turning those bad boys like it was going out of style!) and I took the dog for a walk.
All in all, it was a good day.
I'm thinking I'm still going to try to squeeze in a viewing of Star Trek before the kiddies are out of school next week.
iron_knife, you game?
I'm done.

I'll have to see what day works best and what time the movie's playing. :)
