I had the best day at work today. Considering the shouting match I got in with one of my tellers on Saturday, I wasn't really expecting this. Yes, I occasionally lose my temper. It happens. In other news ...
Book #17 - Blood Brothers: Book 1 of the Sign of the Seven Trilogy by Nora Roberts - Ooh! Supernatural goings on! I'm more than halfway convinced that Nora Roberts is a real, live practicing witch. She gets things right when she talks about the witchy ways. Anyway. The town of Hawkins Hollow is known for going a little crazy for seven days every seventh year on the seventh day of the seventh month. This is the story of how the three boys who awakened an ancient evil in the woods (HA! Evil Dead, anyone?) have grown up living with the guilt of their actions and are determined to put a end to the craziness that envelopes their town. Also, they have a lot of sex with the sexy ladies who are destined to help them. And that's why I read this book. :)
I have tomorrow off. This wasn't my idea. I was supposed to have Saturday off but one of the guys needed Saturday off and the only way I could make it work was to basically work his shift. This puts me in a somewhat pissy mood because it means that I'll be working 3 Saturdays in a row. However, it's somewhat made up for by the fact that I'm taking off a week in February for no reason except that Cole's out of school. Word! My first vacation of 2008!
