That makes it ...

Rock it!

here's the short and sweet rundown of whatever I feel like babbling about ...
1. The world felt very dim around the edges today. Like when you're looking at something and you can't quite see everything because it's dark and you can't seem to focus as much as you'd want to. I blame the overcast day. It must have had something to do with it.
2. I liked Lost. I thought Kate looked good.
3. Today's weird work conversation revolved around one of the tellers having a deep Barry White voice and being forced to take one of my other coworkers out back to put him down like Old Yeller. Because he's sick. It was funny. Trust me.
4. I bellowed at the top of my longs at work yesterday. Not yelled ... bellowed. They mocked me about it after they got over the shock of the super-hero volume of my voice. In my defense, the power had just come back on and I was trying to talk to someone over my cell phone about what we had to do next to get up and running and everyone was way too loud and I COULDN'T HEAR! Oh, and I can shatter ear drums if I set my mind to it. Just remember that.
5. Cole wants me to make him a sandwich for dinner. Okay.
6. That is all.

so i brought a bunch of my old 'us' and 'in touch' and 'people' magazines to work about a month ago. everyone here loves it cause it gives them something to look at while they're eating lunch. yesterday one of my co-workers told me that this lady that we work with was wondering who brought them in, when she said that I had brought them in, the lady said 'lacey? these can't be lacey's, lacey is too shy to read these' um, what? i didn't know someone could be too shy to read magazines.

you should bring in your collection of "black tail" mags next week. just to show them how shy you REALLY are.

YOU ARE TOO SHY TO READ MAGAZINES! I've seen how you bashfully look at the magazines as you're reading.
:P

yea, and guess what else? another co-worker just asked me if i was a mennonite. i asked him if he said that because i dressed plainly and he said that he has never seen me wear pants and mennonites don't wear pants. it sounds like some sort of weird math problem. if lacey doesn't wear pants, and mennonites don't wear pants, than lacey must be a mennonite.

Bwahahahahaha! I've always preferred to be compared to the Amish. Which actually happens. *shakes head* At least we can be still be non-electricity-loving-likes-to-raise-barns friends. Boo-yah!
