Today was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Which is a big YAY! Plus, I got to go to Best Buy to buy Star Wars episode 3! This leads directly into my Best Buy story ...

I was wearing my super cool jacket today. The one with the fuzzy collar and cuffs. The checkout girl told me that she really liked it. I was all, "Yeah, it's my rock star jacket." The girl, "Can I touch it?" Me, "Uhhh ..." The girl reaches out and pets my sleeve. How weird is that?

Heather's trying to potty train Hailey. Yikes. Hailey smiled at all of us earlier and proceeded to pee on the kitchen floor. What do I have to say about this? At least it wasn't the carpet.

I do believe that a couple of journals ago I said that I was planning on putting up a list of my favorite scary movies ... or was it movies that I think are the scariest? ... anyway, here's part 1 ...

Kel's Best Scary Movies part 1
1. Evil Dead - I've seen this movie a couple of times and it STILL scares me. I love the frantic pace of it and the untried quality of the actors. Original and creepy.

2. The Ring - I will admit that I enjoy watching scary movies in the dark by myself. I couldn't watch this entire movie at night. It gave me the willies.

3. The Grudge - I can't handle that jerky stop-motion crawl. It's ... yucky. And ... yucky. Also, I had to run down the hall after watching it because I was afraid that something would be twitching after me to kill me!

4. Wrong Turn - Inbred people. With the teeth. And the misshapen heads and bodies. Yeah, I really don't like them.

to be continued ...

you know the freakiest thing about 'the grudge', when that chick's going up the elevator and that jacked up dead kid's face is shown on each floor...getting close. now THAT'S fucked up.

but how can you leave us all hanging like that?? i want more!

yeah, having that strange chick grope your coat...you need to get some sort of 10 foot restraining order against the employees of best buy.

Look, I can't help it that people flock to me and want to be near me and want to touch my jacket. It's my gift ... my curse.

On Lucasfilm’s release of 'Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith' the studio has also added some hidden features, as expected. Trust the Force and you shall find them, or alternatively just read one for our instructions.
As previous Star Ears releases, the DVD features three different menu themes that are selected at random when you insert the first disc of the set in your player. If you wish to directly select one of these themes you can do so too, of course. Simply insert the first disc of the DVD set in your player and wait for the FBI screen to show up. Here, press either the '1', '2' or '3' key on your remote control to directly select each of the menu themes.
Now, go to the disc’s Main Menu and highlight the THX logo on the screen using your remote control. Now press the numbers '1','1', '3' and '8' on your remote control and you will have access to a very cool clip of Yoda rapping - courtesy of ILM’s Rob Coleman - followed by the DVD’s production credits. Alternatively you can simply access title #3 directly on the DVD to see the clip as well.

Gosh, when I was a teenager I used to LIVE for horror movies. Think Friday The 13th (first one) and Nightmare on Elm Street (again, the first one) but now I'm way too chicken. I did watch The Ring and decided I do not like movies with dead children in them. I haven't seen The Grudge yet. I think it has a dead child walking around doesn't it? *shivers* Now, I do love a good ghost story, though.

Yeah, dead kiddies kinda give me the creeps. The good news is that my next set of scary movies don't involve scary children. So ... maybe you'll get a kick out of some of those. :)

I haven't seen Wrong Turn yet.
I think that the scariest movies I've seen are:

Jaws
The Shining
Halloween
Poltergeist

And Honorable Mention to the outfit in "Scream" that is the scariest outfit - ever.

Wrong Turn is cool in that "creepy inbred people trying to kill Eliza Dushku" sort of way.

Perhaps the cool factor just comes from Eliza herself. heeee
