[livejournal.com profile] tlace says I have to spam her to show how much I care. Okay, she didn't actually say that I have to spam her, but I feel that it's my duty to do this. Heh. I said "duty".

Did I mention at any point that I'm cutting out at 2:30 today? Well, consider it said. I'm planning on picking Cole up and being a total slug. However, I will be a total slug that's not at work. Yes! I figure that after my 11 hour day (with no lunch!) on Tuesday I deserve a little break. Plus, I don't want to descend into that state of complete exhaustion that I experienced a couple of weeks ago. That sucked. So, I'm taking some time for myself. Go, me!

Onto my story. I have the first part laid out in my head, but I haven't managed to write it down yet. It's going to go something like ...

Tabby hadn't seen her Aunt Lillian in 4 years. This didn't bother her too much because she had sent Tabby a canister of golf balls and a used pair of cowboy boots that were three sizes too small for her last birthday. The woman was obviously crazy.

Still, finding out that she had died was a little startling.

Well, that's the beginning. Take it or leave it. *g* More later.

Well, the San Carlos exit was closed, but I just got off at the Santa Clara exit and it was totally easier than the stupid San Carlos exit. I missed my turn on Market, but I knew I missed it and just turned around at the next light. I totally didn't get lost like the last time. Totally.

Another Leoben Conroy is found in the fleet. The Prez orders Adama to have Conroy interrogated, and Adama puts Starbuck on the job because he thinks so highly of her. Or maybe he's trying to get her killed because of Zak. Conroy promptly tells Starbuck that there's a nuke aboard one of the ships, set to go off in about nine hours. So while they look for the nuke, Starbuck spends some quality time having Conroy beaten and dunked in a bucket. Conroy stays mum about the bomb, but he's more than willing to talk about religion and psychoanalyze Starbuck. With time running out, the Prez arrives. Shocked by Starbuck's tactics, the Prez orders the soldiers to remove Conroy's restraints, and tells him that the humans and Cylons don't need to be enemies. Conroy admits that there is no nuke; he was afraid that if he was killed, he was too far away to transfer into another body. Then he grabs the Prez and whispers that Adama is a Cylon. The Prez thanks Conroy for the tip, and orders the soldiers to throw Conroy out of an airlock. Which is awesome. It's Starbuck's turn to be shocked, but the Prez explains that Conroy has caused the fleet to spread out into an indefensible position while he screws with their minds. Conroy goes whoosh, and the Prez has an awkward moment with Adama while Starbuck prays for Conroy's soul. In subplot news, Boomer asks Baltar to test his Cylon detector on her, so that she can prove her innocence to Tyrol. The detector appears to work, but Baltar decides that discretion is the better part of valor, and tells Boomer that she's human. On Caprica, the other Boomer is ordered to settle down with a nice boy, and Six worries that Boomer's gone native.
