Some thoughts on BSG

Home pt 1
First off, is everyone aware that one of the creeeeepiest episodes of The X-Files is the season 4 ep of the same name which is about INBREDS! Inbred people. People who are inbred. I watched that ep earlier topday and it strikes me as funny that they have the same name. It also scared the crap out of me. Like, I had to watch it nearly on mute because scary inbred people screaming freak me out. Really.

However, and I feel that I have to point this out, Home pt 1 is not about people of the inbred persuasion. It's about Lee admitting his loooooooove for Kara. And pretty, pretty Helo finally making it back to the fold. And Helo looking pretty. Wait. I said that already. And Lee kissing Kara (although they made it look much hotter in the previews). And ... ha! Epicenter - the Sci-Fi movie where Traci Lords get to save the world. Hee! Sorry, watching while typing leads to oddness.

Onward. The opening sequence where Apollo pulled the gun on Sharon and Helo pulled his gun on Apollo and Apollo questioned whether Helo was a Cylon was RIVETING. I was so tense my toes were curling up. Starbuck looked awesomely good. Sometimes I wish I were gay so I could have a totally hot girlfriend like Starbuck. But then Helo comes onscreen and I forget about that. Because he's pretty.

Ahem. Right. I loved Dee telling Adama that he fucked up. And he listened. And he made the right choice. I liked the visual image of him standing in the corridor at a crossroads. Which way will he go? Ahh, yes. He'll take the right path because he is ADAMA! I liked that the CAG Adama chose was so spectacularly bad. Have I mentioned that I love the Lee/Kara snark? They snark well together.

I think I have more to say on this but I might have to leave it for later because this is getting long already and there are other things... other things.

jenahna and her son stopped by today. Jenn got to be the first to see my super dark hair. It's nearly black. Well, not really black but it's pretty darn dark. I think I like it. I'll know after tomorrow.

Just to quell a pesky rumor ... I am NOT a Cylon. Don't believe anything you read to the contrary.

I want to add more icons but I haven't run across any that reach out and grab me. With both hands. In a chokehold. Basically, I've stalled out at 60. *crosses fingers that I'll find more that attack and maul me*
