A couple of things I've been meaning to mention ...
1. Hailey cut her own hair about a week and a half ago. Just on one side. All her bangs are gone. It's a little funny, but my sister doesn't like it when I make fun of her. Go figure.

2. I didn't get the job I interviewed for. They went in a "different direction". I'm not quite sure what that means. Still, I don't think it bothers me to not get the job, except in the sense that I want to be good at everything I do and not be considered a failure. I don't personally think I'm a failure, but I still like to succeed at everything I try at. Who doesn't? Anyway. The pretty cool thing that came out of staying where I am is that my manager said some really nice things to me when I told her I wouldn't be leaving. She genuinely seems to like me now. Or at least she likes that I'm a lot more organized that she is. Either way, it's a good thing.

3. I've had on-again, off-again headaches for the past couple of days. These are accompanied by stomach and general body aches. Great. I absolutely don't want to be sick in 100+ weather. Do you know how miserable I'd be? Gah. I don't even want to think about it.

4. Cole starts school on August 23rd. That's coming up. My baby's going to be in first grade.

That is all.

(ummm, ladies? you do have a guy, a bit immature, that visits here also. me. eric)

1. wow that sure sounds vaguely familiar. ha.

2. so the definition of 'a different direction' means hiring a person with no talent, no experience in the banking industry for like 14 years, no organizational skills (do they even know about how you arrange your dvds?), and no fricken clue about your willingness to learn? well i am sorry you didn't get the job. but i guess the positive thing is you can concentrate more on your writing. seriously. and go in a 'different direction' yourself.

3. feel better, ok? been feeling a bit not myself lately too. but for other reasons.

4. Cole in 1st grade! that is so cool!

5. i was catching up with 'laguna beach' last night (yes my one and only guilty pleasure) and they played that howie day song 'collide' during a very tender moment.

ok that's enough out of me. this is turning into yet another long ass stupid journal entry from me.

have a nice day tomorrow. and keep writing, ok?
