I'm pretty sure I haven't mentioned this here yet, but my mom and sisters started this bad ass diet at the beginning of January. I'm not really doing it because I don't like half the food they're eating but since my mom's been making these healthy meals for both her and H I get sucked along. Because, you know, I have to eat. And why am I going to make my own dinner when there's already a decent one sitting there.

The point of this is that I've been eating a lot better but we have NO snacks in the house. Now, I don't normally snack all that much but when there aren't any snacks to be found, MY GAWD! do I want some. I want candy bars and soda and donuts. I don't even drink soda. I haven't had more than a sip or two in the last 3 or 4 years. As for donuts? Nope. I try to stay as far away as I can because they make my tummy hurt afterward. Candy bars, on the other hand, I could do. Big time.

But I don't. Because there's nothing here to snack on. Unless I want carrots. Which I don't. I don't particularly care for carrots unless they're in soup or stew or something. Why would I eat them as a snack?

I just find it funny that I don't normally snack as it is, but as soon as the option isn't there my brain goes into overdrive and makes me CRAVE them. KELLY WANT COOKIE!

Anyway. Books stuff:
Book #34 - Lover Revealed (Black Dagger Brotherhood #4) by J.R. Ward - I can't figure out how this series keeps getting better. I read book #3 and I swore that it was my favorite book- maybe it still is, actually. Zsadist was the perfect flawed hero for me. My point is every book introduces new facets of the Brothers and advances their story. LOVE!
Book #35 - Eternal Craving (Gods of the Night #2) by Nina Bangs - I'm still in awe that someone managed to make dinosaurs sexy. *shakes head* It boggle my mind. But she did it. Oh, yes, she did.

I have a headache. I'm going to bed now.
Later.

I've been on a diet myself since the new year and geez I need some candy. It's been hard but I've been sticking to it pretty well.

You are fortunate you are getting some yummy food made for you. I've been eating Lean cuisine mostly, which isn't terrible if you find the right ones - but I'm sure that home cooked food is better. :)

I like the Lean Cuisine meals that you steam in the bag. The chicken alfredo makes my mouth water.
(I still want a cookie, though)

Really? I haven't tried those yet, I'll check them out. Thanks! (But yes on the cookie!)

OK - I had the chicken Alfredo today and you were right - great quality. The chicken itself was the best I've ever tasted in a heat up meal. I'll be buying those again for sure. Have you had any of the others - like the garlic chicken?

The garlic chicken was waaaay too garlicky for my taste. I like the margherita chicken (or however you spell it). I've also been digging the lean cuisine 300 calorie pizzas. Spinach and mushroom is my favorite for those.

Yes. I've been reading a lot. Like, 2 books a day.
