I could pretend like I was super productive today and wrote my 1000 words and edited and was altogether a good little soldier, but I'd be lying. In fact, other than taking an obscenely long nap and reading a bunch of books, I didn't do much of anything.
In my defense I haven't felt well since last night and I reached a point today (around 8 this morning) where I could barely keep my eyes open. I held out until 10 and then I crawled into bed for my nap. Ahh. Bliss. 3 hours of bliss, to be exact. I was comatose. Unmovable. A mountain of blankets, girl and dogs.
Like I said, bliss.
Yeah. So there's this whole thing I do with books. You know, where I read them.
Book #4 - Mistress by Mistake (Courtesan Court Trilogy #1) by Maggie Robinson - Historical, slightly implausible (in my opinion) and very fun.
Book #5 - Clockworks and Corsets by Regina Riley - Steampunk erotica. I didn't even know this kind of book existed until now!
I'm kinda weirdly grumpy today so I'll go now.
