Good golly, it sure has turned hot. It was warm today, but it's yucky now. My hair is sticking to the back of my neck. At least it was before I put it up in a pony tail. I'm choosing to cool off with a frosty frozen yogurt from Costco. Delicious!
I was straightening up the downstairs bookcase and I came across an old Nancy Drew book. Except it wasn't Nancy Drew, it was a Dana Girls Mystery. Dammit, they look very similar when they're in the old cloth bindings. Anyway. I'm reading it. It's ... not that good. I don't know if I can explain it except that the writing feels juvenile and the things that happen to get the girls out of the scrapes they're in are too easy. Something always pops up at the right moment. Nancy is much more intriguing. Most of the time.
Oh! Cole is now a big brother. His step mom had his new baby sister at 10 this morning. Cole's going to see her tomorrow.
I think I'm done now.
