Hey, look! Another day has come and gone! And I did nothing. Literally nothing. I didn't read. I didn't watch TV. Well, I slept through part of Jumper. I ... I don't remember doing anything of importance today. Wait! I took the dog for a couple of walks. Yay!

I don't think I mentioned that I fell down the stairs the other day. Actually, that's not entirely accurate. I slid down 2 or 3 steps the night before last because I was walking down the stairs in the dark. Fortunately for me, I was holding onto the railing. Otherwise I think I would have taken a good tumble. Still, I twisted my ankle a bit. Not enough that it hurts when I walk or anything, but when I pivot ... I can feel it.

The moral of this story is that one should be careful when walking down the stairs in the dark. Also, when it's not dark.

Thank you.

So, that happened a couple of nights ago. Last night, Cole slept in my room. He and the dog have both been sleeping in his room so this was odd to start with. On Sunday nights Hailey spends the night here since Heather has to be at work at 6 or something. At 5 this morning I hear little footsteps creeping into my room and Hailey tells me that she can't sleep. I get up to go to the bathroom and when I get back she's climbed into my side of the bed and is all settled in. Umm. Okay. I get a blanket out of my closet and try to find a spot on the bed that isn't crushing either of the kids or the dog. Yeah. I ended up sleeping on the floor. I had the worst kink in my neck this morning. I didn't enjoy it as much as one would think.

I'm kicking Cole and the dog into his room tonight and Hailey's at home. I predict that tonight I will get a good night's sleep.

Yes.

I'm done.
Later.
