There are some things that MUST be mentioned.
1. Cole punched a kid at his daycare yesterday. Punched him. In the mouth. So, yesterday, although I did sit down to journal about it (see, I've been so good lately with the posting!), I ended up turning off the computer and sitting down with him to have a good, long talk. However ... (see #2)
2. He punched another boy today. Twice. The same boy. This does not make me happy. I will not have a bully for a son. He has now lost all video game and TV watching privleges for the weekend. This, might I add, cuts into the movie fun the two of us were going to have tonight. There was going to be popcorn. And soda. Now there will just be tears and grumpiness and staring at walls.
3. I had the most amazingly creepy dream last night. If you were to take all my fears and roll them into one and drop it into a Lost-like backdrop, you would have my dream. Imagine (if you will) sunken ships, dead bodies, castaways, mystical energy fields, seething water, the fear of slowly drowning, the fear of being away from your son for all time and a bunch of other little points of interest. It was so creepy. And cool. Because the coolness came out of my head.
Cole is, once again, screeching from the back of the house.
Ta.
