I hurt my back. How? I don't know. I just know that I woke up this morning to pain. I took some Aleve but it doesn't seem to be helping. At this point I should mention that normally I can take Aleve for everything from a headache to losing a limb and it works it's glorious magic on me to make me better. Not today. So, I'm going to suffer my way through the day (woe is me!), get off early and go to Cole's 1st school conference. Yay!

By the by, it's hellaciously foggy out. Like, pea soup foggy. I can barely see the Burger King across the plaza. It wasn't this way when I came in to work an hour ago. Weird.

Also, my manager isn't in today! Whee! She's off at various meeting this morning and won't be back until later this afternoon. Did I mention that I'll be leaving early? Because I will be. Soooooo - good news all around.

I feel boring this morning. I'll gather my thoughts and return at a later date.

PS - Isn't this such a pretty icon? Ahhhh! Look at my alien guy! Now, that's funny!

I'm on my second cup of extremely hot tea. I have this theory, see, that if I drink enough hot tea I'll raise my body temp and be able to counteract the fog with the intense waves of heat/energy I'm putting out. Ha! I said "putting out". Well, it's funny if you're me. Anyway. So far, it doesn't seem to be working, but I still have high hopes.

well i'm not sure how much amusing i can do today cause i have to be on the window again. so lets recap. friday, cash keys taken away. woo hoo! monday, i am told to take someones cash keys so i can be on the window. goddamnit! oh, and yes, i do have your bridget jones. the good bridget jones, not the suck-ass one that just came out. so that's it for now, it's 9:55 and there's probably some people already in line, so i'm gonna go sit out there and stare at the computer and when they ask 'are you open yet?' i'm gonna say 'no' and then just continue to stare at the computer.

Ha! I'm kinda doing the same thing, except I'm behind my desk, not on the teller line.
My back feels a little better. If I don't move. Which I can do. I'll just make A-Dawg give all the approvals today. Yeah, right. I guess I can handle the fact that I don't feel real great since I'm GOING HOME EARLY!
Crap. I have to go input some bond info. Fun!

i kind of like inputting bond information. there was this guy, mr. apple who used to come in with about 150 bonds and i would have to rate them so he could turn them into HH bonds. i used to love doing that and i got really fast at it.

Generally speaking I don't mind inputting bond info, but today ... well, let's recap, shall we - 2+ cups of tea = mucho peeing. One back that keeps aching = no urge to sit on the crappy stools the tellers use. Aleve not kicking in = ouch! What I'm trying to get at is ... yeah, I may type quickly, but I'm grumpy and don't want to do grunt work. Soooo - do it yourself, Shush! Of course, she doesn't listen and I'm too nice and I end up doing it anyway. 10 bonds later and I'm pretty worn out. Not to mention I really, really had to pee at that point.
