Wow. Today was a lazy day. I watched Friday's FNL (which wasn't a terribly exciting episode, IMO), BSG: Razor (which was OMG!GOOD!), several partial eps of Tru Calling (Sci-Fi channel marathon, you know) and the first couple of eps of season 1 of SGA. As I said, we were lazy.

First things first, Razor was AWESOME. It took me a few minutes to get back into the BSG universe but once I was there, I was THERE! It makes me want to go back and watch the BSG mini and drool over all the pretty. OH! Michael Trucco (Sam on BSG) was on one of the eps of Tru Calling. Good lord, that man is very, very pretty.

In other news, I'm in process of reading World War Z which is a pretty awesome book about a Zombie World War. This is one of those books where I feel like I'm reading and reading and not getting much done. Trust me, it's a very good book, but I feel like I'm going to be reading it for a very long time. I may have to cut a few non-zombie books in the middle of it to feel like I'm making book-reading progress. What? I have a deadline to meet.

I think I'm done babbling.

ahh, finally got around to watching 'razor' eh? i agree, fucking awesome! and that 'watching the mini series' and 1st season was what i totally did after seeing it. i still have to watch my unrated dvd. plus! the motherfucking old school cylons just blew me away. my brother in law was saying the exact same thing. good for you for finally getting to it!

I really did have a tough time at first getting back into the BSG-speak but that was a freaking awesome 2 hours!
After watching it I was thinking about how Adama managed to resupply the fleet at the beginning by going to that creepy ass station and how tense it was when they got away and I was thinking about how Cain had to cannibalize civilian ships to get the same result. Adama's a better commander. that's all I'm saying.

Wow. I kinda went on about that.

my thought after watching it, was i didn't remember that main chick being in any of season 2's episodes. and after watching season 2, she wasn't. but i'm sure it's all explained in the 'razor' timeline, whichi have yet to watch it a second time on my unrated dvd.

which brings me to another, and more important, reason why i need to watch said dvd; some hot girl on cylon girl action that i've heard is on it. what, it's natural.

She wasn't in any of the previous seasons. In fact, the actress had never seen an episode before they hired her. I thought she did a great job.

i meant to mention this before. i'm probably wrong about this, but i can't imagine a zombie novel. this is how i picture the 1st and only page:

zombie number 1: "braaaiiiins!"
(veggie) zombie number 2: graaaaiiiins!"

ze end

That is not how the book goes. First, there are well over 300 pages and there is no "braaaaaiiiiiins" speak at all. It's actually a very good book and I think you would like it.
Yeah. there was no second to go with that first.

thank you for clearing that up for me! first. i actually had that book on my wish list sometime last year. but, well, with my ashamed to admit it, lack of reading for no reason whatsoever, i thought there really was no point.

second. what, no love for an outdated veggie zombie joke? it was funny damnit!

Good book.
No, no love for the outdated jokes. Sorry, man.

by the way, totally off subject, i'm planning to hit streetlight sometime in the near future. so if you happen to do some spring cleaning and have some dvds/cds you're done with, i'd be happy to trade them in for you. (as long as NONE of them are any i've given you for presents over the many years! *cough* no tron)

just keep it in mind. it probably won't be for a few weeks. i still have to go through my shit.

I'll look through my stuff. I'm trying to work on downsizing my room within the next couple of months. Because I want to move and I don't want all this STUFF!
Anyway. I'll go through my stuff and see what I can part with.
