Yes! I'm back. Some highlights and lowlights? Okay.
It rained. It rained Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is good if you're home and curled up in bed with a cup of hot tea and a good movie. Heck, it's even good if you're curled up with a bad movie. It becomes somewhat damp and miserable when you're walking through Disneyland with a backpack and two kids. It's also not so fun when your shoes begin to squelch. However, the complete lack of people pretty much makes up for the miserableness. Is that a word?
It rained. It rained on Tuesday. This was the day we set aside for Knott's Berry Farm. My grandma was with us. She gets a little vocal with her complaints. Plus, Heather and I decided it would be fun (read as -- "hilarious") to go on the Perilious Plunge. This is the water ride that drops you straight down and a virtual wall of water hits you in the face. Yes, it was fun. It was also extremely wet. Oh, and Heather and I were the only ones on the ride. THE ONLY ONES. Two people on a boat that can hold 20 or so. We got wet. Then it started to pour. This was probably not our finest hour. I will admit that it was extremely fun, though.
Rain on Wednesday. Also, the Tower of Terror. Hee. Tower of Terror. Cole went on that with me. He didn't like it. I did. Still, he was brave enough to try it once. What a sweet potato.
No rain on Thursday. Yippee!
Friday -- No rain and lots of people. Blah. I think we only stayed at Disneyland about 2 hours that day.
Just a little FYI for all of yous ... Heather and I spent over $60 at the confectionary store in Downtown Disney. That's $60 on such delightful delights as fudge, rice crispy treats, lollipops and carmel apples. I can't believe we did that. Seriously.
More tomorrow. I have to remember to tell the wonderful story of Best Buy and Xena season 5.
