Can somebody please explain where the last couple of days went? Seriously. This weekend flew by. And that's with the couple of extra days off I took. What's that, you ask ... well, I didn't go to work on Friday. Bad me. Today, of course, is Columbus Day. Hence, I'm not working today. So, I ended up with a lovely little 4 day weekend. Actually, I did go into work for an hour today to finish up the last two weeks of schedules that I needed to get done before my vacation. It was nice to just sit there and do them. Nobody was distracting me. I didn't have to answer the phones. It went quite quickly. Now I'm home. Just me. Nobody else. How odd.

I've also made some major inroads on the Christmas shopping. Yes, I'm disgusting. I know this. Still, I can't stand the holiday crowds and I saw some things this weekend (and today) that just screamed out for certain people. Cole, for one. He's getting some fun and cool games. In fact, I bought him this really cool joystick that you just plug into the TV and play. He's getting the Pac Man one. I don't think I'm describing it very well. It's probably because I'm hungry. I'll go eat.

i'm trying to figure out if i can ask you to lunch today. i might not be able to cause i'm working at meridian but i do need to pick up some official check paper so maybe i can justify taking a longer lunch and drive out your way. also, i wore my yellow tennis shoes to work today. why? i don't know.
