I did something totally bone-headed today. After spending all sorts of money yesterday to have my alternator replaced to try to correct my little problem with the battery light coming on on my dash, I LEFT MY HEADLIGHTS ON ALL DAMN DAY! I don't even know what to say about that. Talk about an easy way to kill your battery.
The good news is that the battery didn't drain itself out and I'm laughing at myself.

oddmonster inquired ... I recommend The Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris. I just bought the 6th book in the series and I think it's next on my reading list. After I finish up Gil's All Fright Diner. *g* FYI, I've seen the series listed as both The Southern Vampire and The Southern Vampire Mysteries ... which is a bit odd since there's really not so much "mystery". Or maybe I'm just caught up in the whole vampire side of it. *shrug*
Cole informs me that I must go to bed now. Umm, okay.
