Uggh. I have to go back to work tomorrow. To make up for that, I read 2 (well, finished 1 that I had started yesterday) books today.
Book #26 - The Tower and the Hive by Anne McCaffrey - The final book in the series ended quite satisfactorily.
Book #27 - For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison - I stumbled over this author about a year ago and have greedily devoured everything she has out. Unfortunately, that's a grand total of 5 books. They're all interconnected and they're all wonderful. Start with Dead Witch Walking to meet the lovely bounty hunter Rachel Morgan and her menagerie of friends and work your way through the entire series. It totally rocks my socks. Off. It rocks them off.
My sunburn is rather bothersome and I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow. Which probably means that I'll be there extra early so that I don't talk myself out of going. Also, my car (which I just took in for an oil change and some minor servicing) keeps acting weird. The battery light keeps popping on. I had them check the battery and they tell me that it's fully charged, so I don't know if I'm going to have to get off early one day to take it in or what. Annoying!
I'm behind on some of my shows. Despite being off for a week.
My new books should be here in a couple of days! Woot!
