Things are moving forward ...

You know, I have my cousin's bridal shower tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it at all. Well, that's not true. I'm looking forward to the shower itself. I'm not looking forward to the drive there and back. 2+ hours each way. Suck-a-roo. That's a huge hunk of my day that will be spent in the car. Boo-ness.

I had my hair done today. The color my stylist used this time is called Ruby Red Slipper. That is just about the most awesome name for a hair color EVER. She also tried to talk me into letting her put bright pink extensions in my hair. I was like, "That's cool and I'd totally be down with it if I wasn't starting a brand new job on Tuesday." See, I promised malkovich03 that I wouldn't embarrass her since she's the one who introduced me to my new boss. I can't show up for work on the first day with pink hair extensions. That's obviously something that should wait until week 2. Obviously.

Besides which, I think that hot pink would clash with my Ruby Red Slipper. And that would be tragic!

Book #47 - American Vampire by Jennifer Armintrout - Okay, this book was really good. I've had the best run of most excellent books lately and it makes me so happy. Giddy, even.
Book #48 - Badlands by Seleste deLaney - Steampunk! An immodest warrior woman who doesn't mind flashing her boobies! Corsets! Good times, guys. Good times.
Book Blogger Hop & Follow Friday (01/28/11) - Books I'm waiting on (of which I couldn't come up with an answer) and my favorite subject in school.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to read at least 50 books in the month of January. Whoa. Just, whoa.
