Okay guys, October is past the halfway point. My birthday is over. You have no excuse for not signing up for NaNoWriMo and writing a novel in November. None. And while you're at it you should totally add me as a writing buddy so I don't look pathetic and lonely. Look, I'll even make it easy for you... Here I am - Join me or I'll send my T-Rex to torment you while you're showering. He'll try to get you with his tiny arms. You'll be scared. Oh, yes. You'll be scared.
Sooooo ... I totally overslept this morning. I remember my alarm going off and I remember turning it off and all of a sudden Hailey was standing at the foot of my bed staring at me. Umm, hey! What's up, little Bug? And why are you here while I'm still sleeping? Oh, crap! I felt like I was running a few steps behind all morning. Even though I really wasn't. Of course, this leads to endless teasing from my family because I can count exactly two times I've overslept in the last several years and both of them have been recently. *face palm*
Anyway. I have book stuff here ...
NaNoWriMo and what I've learned in the month of November - I may have failed at writing 50K words every single time I tried but I still learned something from it.
Book #221 - Covet (The Fallen Angels #1) by J.R. Ward - I had some issues with the first part of the book but we worked through them and now we're BFFs with all the trimmings.
Teaser Tuesday - My teasers all sound like I read psycho-crazy books. I don't. For the most part.
30 days of books... Day 37 - Magic, murder and mayhem. Not necessarily in that order. PS-Cole asked me how I could have 37 days in my 30 days of books. I was like, because it's my blog and I can do what I want! Boo-yah!
And in really cool news... I received an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) of Shiloh Walker's Tarnished Knight (Grimm's Circle #4). I'm kinda excited about it because the author chose me to give it to (Okay, fine. Not just me, but I can still be excited) and it's not out for another week. I'm sure I'll read it tonight and have the review up tomorrow.
And that's about it.
Later.
