Okay. I'm in the middle of writing but I had to take a break for a bit because ... well, I do.

Kindle. Love it.
Book #104 - Cry Sanctuary (Red Rock Pass #1) by Moira Rogers - Another Kindle freebie. I liked this one, I just thought there could have been ... more. More story. more resolution to the story. Sure, they tied up one part of the story line but they didn't give us the satisfaction of seeing Abby make peace with her wolf. Seriously, I got to the end and I kept looking for more. However, it was an intriguing premise and the writing was decent and I've already been checking out the others in the series. The plot? Strong Beta wolf helps strong female Beta after she escapes from the sadistic Alpha who forcibly turned her. Abby finds a measure of peace in Red Rock Pass, a sanctuary for werewolves, but her peace is quickly shattered when the Alpha she escaped from takes her sister hostage in a bid to get her back. Keith is drawn to Abby from the start and he can't bear the thought of her sacrificing herself for her sister. So, he helps her. After they have blistering sex. I guess the thing that bothers me is that I can see the bones of good werewolf mythology here, but it felt like it didn't get explored. Heck, for a book about werewolves, there was very little wolfish goings on. Like I said, though, I'm still intrigued enough to pick up the next books in the series.

Werewolves are my new thing. Can you tell?
Back to writing.
