Yesterday I might have mentioned that I was a wee bit tired. Maybe it slipped my mind. Anyway. I fell asleep at 8:30 last night. Yikes. I ended up getting something like 9 hours of sleep. Whoa. That's a lot of sleep. Especially for me.

Don't worry, though, I plan on using and abusing all that extra sleep tonight. I figure that I can easily stay up until 2 or 3 in the am. Who needs sleep anyway? Not me!

Ooh! I got to dress up pretty today. Cole's class went to the local high school to see the concert band put on a performance. I was drafted to drive. All the kids dressed up. All the parents dressed up. I wore a dress with my knee high boots. I rocked it. Absolutely rocked it.

Between all the sleep and other goings on I even managed to watch all the shows on my DVR. Castle? Check. Lost? Double check. I have nothing on there at the moment except a random episode of some cartoon that Cole watches. Am I awesome or what?

Also? Booooook!
Book #96 - Night Embrace (Dark-Hunter #3) by Sherrilyn Kenyon - I skipped this book during my marathon re-read a couple of weeks ago because it was loaned out. Well, reading it out of order might not have been the best idea because a heck of a lot of stuff happens in this book that has direct bearing on the next few in the series. Questions about Ash abound. Zarek's actions have a direct impact on the next book. THERE WAS JUST A LOT OF STUFF, YOU KNOW? So, Talon is our resident Dark-Hunter and Sunshine is the woman he's fallen for. The catch? Talon was cursed by a God while he was still human and any human he loves meets a bitter and quick end. Definitely a book that should be read in order and definitely one that propels the overall arc forward. Good stuff.

I'm now about halfway through Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead and it's kinda taken a turn that I didn't think would happen. Or, I didn't think it would happen yet. Or something. Either way. I'll probably finish it tonight and then I'll be forced to make a hard decision on what book and/or series I should start next. I don't mind going back to the Carpathians series but I can only read one or two of those before I need a break. *sigh* Such hard stuff I have to think about.

Enough from me.
Later.
