Do you see yourself in a crowded room?
I had a pretty fantabulous day today.
First, Heather and I drove up to Oakland for a consultation with a joint specialist about H's knee. An hour and a half there and an hour and a half back. Plus an hour for the appointment. Fun. However, we tested out the AWESOME GPS on my phone, which is the most fantastical of all fantastical things and did not get us lost once, even when we turned the wrong way. Go figure that one out.
Then we met Amb for lunch and I pointed out that it felt very decadent for the three of us to be eating lunch together on a weekday. By the by, we had these delicious veggie bagel sandwiches from an out of the way (for us) place that Amb knew of. She was craving one of those sandwiches something fierce. Ahh, the fun of pregnancy cravings. She's due in 5 days. She's ginormas.
Home after that. Picked up the kids, took a nap. Woke up 2+ hours later and wallowed amongst my blankets for a bit while I thought of all the reasons that I wasn't ready to get up yet. Got up anyway.
Made a delicious dinner and then we all trouped off to Open House at the kids' school.
COLE TOOK FIRST PLACE IN THE SCIENCE FAIR! AGAIN!
My kid's kinda smart. He did a project on the way different sodas and energy drinks stained and rotted teeth. It was gross. I never want to see those teeth again, but he won first place in the physical science category. Yay, Cole!
Now I'm home and I'm ready to watch all my Thursday night shows. Boo-yah, babies! Boo-yah!
Gotta take the dogs out and get ready to settle in for the long haul.
Later.
