Oh, the cool weather is back. Yay! No sweltering heat today. No painfully warm breeze whistling down between the houses. No stifling rooms. Blessed be to the cool weather!
The downside is that my tummy's been hurting all afternoon. Boo. At least it isn't hurting in the intense heat.
I did read a book today.
Book #82 - The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart - I've been wanting to read this book and when I finally picked it up I was a little intimidated by the size of it. There were close to 500 pages there. But I started and it's a fairly quick read and I ended up really liking it. The story goes something like this ... Four incredibly gifted children are recruited to help stop a madman from using a diabolical invention to enslave the world. An overall fun read.
I'm still trying to watch The Matrix trilogy. I get about halfway through the second movie and then ... I stop. I'll need to get back on that.
I dyed my hair again. Another coat of red. Well, reddish-brown. I like it!
I need to get the kiddo off to bed.
