I have news. Of the good type. But first ...
Book #73 - Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien - Okay. So I've seen The Secret of NIMH movie a TON of times. A ton. I watched it when I was a kid. I watch it with the kids now. It's cool. I like it. When I was at the library the other day (browsing the juvenile section while waiting for Hailey to finish picking out her books), I stumbled over the book and thought I'd give it a whirl. Wow. Quite different from the movie, but good, good, good. I was impressed. Still am, in fact.
So, the news ... Amber and Phil are expecting a wee one! Yay! How exciting! New baby! They spilled the beans at dinner today. Of course we had to discuss it endlessly. And offer baby names. ShamWow, anyone? Yes, that was my contribution. :) I also offered up "Ove Glove". Am I the best sister or what? Somehow I don't think they're going to go with either of those names. Although they can really be used for either sex. Think about it.
I also got to see Cole's new little sister. She's so tiny. Like a teeny, tiny little doll. With hair. I'm not used to that. Everyone in my family had such light hair when they were born that they were bald. Yes, myself included.
That is all. I'm going to bed. It's late.
