Book #46 - Poison Ink by Christopher Golden - Oh. I really wanted to like this book, but it was just okay. Part of it could be that I feel like I'm over high school plot lines. And part of it could just be that I'm not sure what type of book I'm in the mood for. So, five misfit high school girls decide to get tattoos to cement their friendship. Being underage, they go to a shady tattoo-ist and one of the girls backs out at the last minute. Oops. Bad idea. Now her four friends are under the influence of a puppet master who makes them commit depraved acts for his amusement. Somehow Sammi has to figure out how to save her friends without being caught in the tattoo artists spell. Decent, just not one that I'm drooling over.

Cole and I are the only ones home tonight. My mom is having some minor surgery on her shoulder tomorrow morning so she's spending the night at my grandma's. It's kinda weird with just the two of us here.

I made strawberry jam today. I think we have enough strawberries to make another batch. Yummers. We have nearly 2 dozen jars of jam sitting on our counter. Be jealous.

I have to take my pup out for her nightly business.
