Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there!

We went to my sister's house for some pulled pork sandwiches. Delicious! Cole brought his Wii and my sisters were playing Super Mario Bros. 3. I decided to be a generous mom and get him some Wii points so he could download a few new games. I think he made some good gaming choices.

Uggh. I'm so tired I can hardly see straight. This is what happens when I become enraptured by a book and stay up waaaay too late reading. Right, book.

Book #33 - In the Woods by Tana French - Oh, where to start. I was captivated by this blurb on the back of the book enough to buy it.
Three children leave their small Dublin neighborhood to play in the surrounding woods. Hours later, their mothers' calls go unanswered. When the police arrive, they find only one of the children, gripping a tree trunk in terror, wearing blood-filled sneakers, and unable to recall a single detail of the previous hours.

That hauled me in. I wanted to know how that child got to that point. How did he come to be standing in bloody sneakers? How did his mates disappear? Why?

This may be spoilery )

I think that I have nothing more to say.
