I've had a crappy day off. Not only is it hovering in the mid to high 90's today (which is making me sweaty and irritated) but I can't stop thinking about work and how much I hate it right now. Seriously, if I wasn't in the middle of applying for a freaking home loan I'd be looking for a new job right this moment. Except not because as mentioned above I'm both sweaty and irritated and neither of those are good things to bring to the job hunting table.

Still, I'm sick of how much STUFF I'm asked to do on a daily basis and how easy it is for everyone else to pass the blame on down. Plus, my job is suck-tastic right now and I don't want to deal with it. So. New job. Me. Once the home thing gets figured out. Hopefully it'll be closer to where ever we end up living and I won't have to commute.

In other news, I totally thought I lost my iPod last night. I couldn't find it for the life of me. This morning, I thought to look a little more closely in the car and there it was, wedged between the driver's seat and the door. Oh, blessed day! My music is not lost. YAY!

I've been very good about saving money this month. Or, not spending it. However you choose to look at it. I did break down and buy a book on clearance on Amazon, but that was totally justified because I was planning on buying it anyway and it was on CLEARANCE! Still, one book for the entire month? That's pretty good for me.

I'm working on #42. I have to catch up to [livejournal.com profile] oddmonster. It's a moral imperative. Not to nag or anything, but we haven't had any reviews at [livejournal.com profile] blabapalooza yet. This month. I'm actually thinking that I could step in and take up some of that slack but I'm kinda thinking that I just want to continue being lazy and lounge around the blow-up pool in the backyard that the kids are playing at this very moment. Yep. I'm going to do it. That's right! I live my life on the edge. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

Work still sucks. Amazing. I thought it would become less sucky while I was typing, but no. Stupid work. Ruining my day off. Pfft.

I'm done now.

Book #42 - The Shadow Runners (2176 Series, Book 3) by Liz Maverick - I liked it. Thus far, I've liked everything Liz Maverick has written. Nice. This one involves revolution and a disgraced prince and a renegade girl who he needs to complete his plans. Also, they looooove each other and have hot sex in the outback. True story.

I don't plan on posting again tonight. Maybe. No, I'm pretty sure.
I think.
