It's me!

Whoo-hoo!
Book #96 - The Good, The Bad, And The Undead by Kim Harrison - I did it! It only took me 3+ weeks to finish reading it (and it's a re-read so that's absolutely terrible!) but it's done now! Yay! Yay! I've already started the next one. I'm rockin' it!

I have no one home with me at the moment. How nice. No screeching kids. No loud sister. No one. It's like a little slice of blessed silence. So what do I do with this silence? I fill it with the PotC movies. Yes, I watched the first 2 last night (while finishing my book) and the third is playing as I type. Awe.some.

I do have to take my car in once my mom comes home, though. It's been leaking oil on and off for the past couple weeks and I want to get that taken care of. I'm also going to run out to visit a few after-Christmas sales. I owe my mom two sweaters since the ones we bought her didn't fit. Yes, I took them. They look fab on me. :)

I'm done for now.

This is this and that is that!

Double Whoo-Hoo!
Book #97 - Every Which Way But Dead by Kim Harrison - 3rd in the Rachel Morgan series finds Rachel trying to out-trick the demons to rid herself of her demon mark. LOVE!

See? Now that's the way it should be done. I should be spending all day reading books so that I can kill my 100 book goal in next to no time. Therefore, I shall be quitting my job and committing myself full-time to this endeavor next year. Yes? No? Okay. I won't quit my job. That would make it hard to pay my bills and to move into the house I plan on buying in the next couple of months.

Word.

There's a lot going on here.

Since I feel like being extra spammy today ...
Triple Whoo-Hoo!
Book #98 - The Gunslinger Born by Stephen King, etc - This is the first 7 issues of the Gunslinger Born comic series all rolled up in a gorgeous hardcover book with pretty , pretty pictures which I want to make banners and icons out of. Basically, this takes the chronological events of the entire Dark Tower series and puts them to pretty pictures. So, we start with when Roland defeated Cort and won his first set of guns and ended with his beloved Susan burning to death while declaring her love for him. In other words, it's a much shorter and more focused version of Wizard and Glass. Yeah, that book? It took me forever to get through. I've read it twice and ... wow. It's long and drawn out. I do remember it as being better the second time around, but still ... long.

I digress. Book=good.
