Oh.My.God. it's been, like four whole days since I finished a book. That's disgraceful! Anyway.
Book #67 - The Dream-Hunter by Sherrilyn Kenyon - Obviously I like the Dark-Hunters world that Sherrilyn Kenyon has created. Otherwise I wouldn't have read that series. That said, this takes the DH world and mythology and throws a little more back story into it. Hmm ... Dark-Hunters and Dream-Hunters ... they'd both be shortened to DH. This is going to throw a wrench into my recap here. So, the most jarring part of this book was that it takes place before the 4th (?) (5th?, 6th?) book in the Dark-Hunters series. I wasn't expecting that. I just may need to re-read that series. I'm always down for a good re-read. Word! Anyway. I liked this book. It was a really easy read, the hardest part is trying to keep straight all the various Greek gods and their relationships with one another. Fortunately I like Greek mythology and can keep up.
You know, I think I may need to go check out Amazon for new books. I haven't done that in a couple of weeks.
Oh, my filming (or whatever you call it) went just swimmingly. I neither fell on my face nor swore a blue streak. I did, however, feel a bit silly making small talk with my tellers while a camera was on us. Plus, one of my tellers high-fived me so hard I thought I broke my hand. Ouch. I can totally tell that will make it into the final cut. Just because it hurt so much.
Oh, I almost forgot! I signed up for the
two_of_us_fic challenge. Whee! I get to write. With a prompt. However, I have no idea what I shall write about. Yep, this is going to be fun!
I'm out.
