Happy Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] heather13! I hope you have a great one!

Here's a couple of quick things:
1. I watched season 1 of The Office last night. I am strangely compelled by it. I adore Jim and Pam and completely [COMPLETELY] understand the allure of John Krasinski. In fact, I've already IMDB-ed him. *hangs head* I'm so easy.

Some quick highlights: Pam falling asleep with her head on Jim's shoulder in diversity training. PS, you'll have to excuse the fact that I didn't bother to see what the actual episode names were. I just hit "play all" and sat back to enjoy the ride. Pam's startled giggle when Dwight pulled the jello/stapler out of his drawer in the pilot. Jim's HOT basketball playing. The way Pam watched him as he was playing. When Jim and Pam were coming up with diseases. The complete adorable-ness of John Krasinski.

There's more. I'm just overwhelmed with giddiness at Jim/Pam.

2. I'm getting ready for Cole's birthday party which starts at noon today.

3. I'm completely in love with the Firefox FoxyTunes add-on. It allows me to control iTunes from my browser! That exclamation point was all about excitement! As someone who pretty much always has iTunes running when I'm at the computer, this is completely awesome. the best part? I didn't even know I needed it until I added it on. Whee!

Time to head to Costco to pick up the cake!
Toodles.

I'm feeling extra spammy today ...

When you see this post, quote from Doctor Who on your LJ.
"You think it'll last forever, the people and cars and concrete. But it won't. One day it's all gone, even the sky. My planet's gone. It's dead. It burned like the Earth. It's rocks and dust before its time."

And now for funny story time with Kelly ...
The fam and I went to Costco about an hour ago to pick up Cole's cake and some pizza and some veggies and some other things. I took the kids out to the food court to buy them churros because I'm the best mom and auntie EVER! I bought myself a mocha freeze. Cut to Heather and I putting the food away in the back of my car. I put my mocha down on the edge of the ... whatever that thing is called that buffers the back of the car. Anway. The point is that I then slam the trunk (which is a hatchback) closed and squish my mocha. Oops. Even better? I then open the trunk back up to try to clean it and end up getting mocha freeze dripped all over my hair and back. It was funny. I kept wiping at my shoulder but every time I'd turn my head more mocha freeze would smear across the place I'd just wiped. Ha! Needless to say, I came home and took my second shower of the day.

I'm very clean.
