I'll do my best!

My mom conned me into going to a craft store with her today. Well, she didn't actually con me, she asked me if I'd go with her and I said yes. I always feel mildly guilty when I go to a craft store and don't buy anything. I feel like I should buy a roll of ribbon or something. I don't know what I'd do with the ribbon once I bought it, but the thought is always there that I should buy something. Even if I have no use for it. Anyway. I went to the store with my mom and then she sprung on me that she needed to go to the fabric store. Oh, cringe. The last time I went with her to the fabric store the registers all crashed and we were standing in line FOREVER to pay. It sucked. I'm pretty sure I'm scarred for life. Plus, the fabric store smells funny. My mom claims that it's just how fabric smells, but I stand by the fact that it smells funny.

No, I'm not crafty and I have no patience for sewing.

While we were driving to the fabric store my mom launched into a long winded story about how she used to buy some of her craft supplies from one online site, but then she found another one and the prices and selection were so much better that she had to switch. It was one of those conversations where I found myself drifting off halfway through and have no idea what was actually said. And I still have no patience for either sewing or crafts.

Also, my hairstylist called me early this morning to see if I wouldn't mind changing my appointment to tomorrow morning. *sigh* Okay. It's no big deal. I just ran all my errands today so that tomorrow I can go get my hair done and then be a big slug.

I've been watching the Heroes marathon on Sci-Fi off and on all day today. I still want to watch it from beginning to end, but the bits and pieces I caught were quite satisfying. I really want some more Heroes icons but I can't find any good communities. That kinda sucks.
