Book #37 - Nightingale's Lament by Simon R. Green - The third book in the Nightside series finds John Taylor trying to save an up-and-coming singer who has a voice that can drive people to commit suicide. Or is there more to the story? A pretty darn good read. I'm looking forward to the next book which seems like it's going to give answers as to who and what John's mother is. Cool.

Okay. Cole? He was up all night last night. His stomach was hurting and he was running to the bathroom every so often. I know he was up and playing video games from 3:30 on. I think he watched a movie also. He could have built a boat in the room for all I know. So, he stayed home from school. I went to work. I wasn't tired until I started driving home and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. Naturally, this was the one day where there was a backup on one of the roads I take and I was crawling along. Yeah, it was not the most fun I've ever had.
