Light up, light up ...
I didn't have time to read anything today because that damn drive to and from Sacramento wiped me out. Seriously. I came home and slept. I even skipped dinner so I could get a little more sleep in before taking Cole to karate.
That said, I did manage to get a few more pages written on my Blood Ties story (while Cole was in karate). I think it's almost done. Unless it decides to skew wildly to the side and go off on a whole other tangent. I just have to polish it up and make sure it's actually saying what I want it to say. Word!
Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, we didn't make it to the railroad museum like I thought we would. I was happy to check out Sutter's Fort and then drive home. Lunch was yummy. We saw my cousin and walked around a small part of Sac.
I have a desperately needed shopping trip planned for tomorrow (Cole needs new pants like WHOA!) and lunch with
malkovich03. Hopefully I'll have time to squeeze in another book and polish up my story. I'm hoping to finish the last 3 books in the Tower and Hive series before the end of vacation.
On a funny note, Amb and Phil took their new RV to the Santa Cruz mountains for a shake down tour and it was freaking freezing last night/this morning. To the point where they had to go out and buy a new down comforter. Ha! Why does that amuse me?
My room is dirty (I should do another post to announce in no uncertain terms exactly what's on my floor. Yuck!) and my TV's dusty. I don't like that.
I'm off.
