My mom had to pick Cole up from daycare yesterday because he was running a fever. I don't think he's been out of bed for any extended length of time since I got home at 7 last night. His poor body is so hot. I feel for him.

So, the two of us are hanging out at home today. Doing nothing. Or, maybe I'll be inspired to make art. Art is always good.

The bad part of staying home is that I can't wear any of the new clothes that came yesterday. The good thing is that I'll have a new wardrobe for next week. Woot!

Is it me or has Lost been very good lately? [livejournal.com profile] jenahville and I had a little discussion about it and we've decided that we really like it. Randomly ... )

Time to check on the boy.

I ended up making a wallpaper. Hence, two posts!

>>added to Bay 12

>>brushes by [livejournal.com profile] touchstonesart
>>1280x1024
>>comments are always appreciated
>>Scattered = disperse

I also made it in widescreen [1280x800] because I like how it looks. However, I haven't uploaded that version, so if you want it, you have to ask. :)

One more wallpaper. It's similar to the last one, but different enough to warrant it's own post. Or something.

Once again, I also made this in widescreen [1280x800] for myself, but I'd be happy to share if anybody's looking for widescreen.

So, on top of the sick kid and the making of the art, my mom and I found time to go out and buy a 50 inch plasma TV. It was massively discounted and we honestly couldn't pass it up. The damn thing was so heavy, we could barely get it from the car to the house. And by "the house" I mean the garage. Then I announced that I couldn't carry it anymore and we'd have to wait for one of the sisters (my sisters, not a nun) to get home/stop by before it could go any farther. That said, it's now sitting pretty in the living room. And it's big. So big. So big and pretty.

Sicky McSickerson is coughing behind me. And he looks flushed again. Poor boy.
