Bwahahahaha! I love my new color scheme. It's so awesome! Hey, I totally said that with my Valley Girl accent - could you tell?
I'm starting to get things in order for Cole's birthday party. He's decided on a Pirates of the Caribbean theme. Okay. Not what I was expecting, but it's his party. So, Pirates. Arrgh! I'm totally going to wear an eye patch and growl at people when I talk. And use convoluted sentence structures ... oh, wait. I do that already. The kids are going to be all, "Can I have some cake?" And I'll respond with, "I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your demands." Wouldn't that be funny? Is it even funnier that I had to look up how to spell "acquiesce"? Well, it's funny to me.
I'm feeling some Doctor Who watching coming on. It's like a hurricane spiraling through me. It can't be ignored. Speaking of looking up how to spell things, I just checked if "spiraling" was correct and you can spell it as both "spiraling" and "spiralling". And now I've typed that word so many times that it's lost all meaning.
I took a nap earlier today after coming home from work a *teeny, tiny* bit early and I had the hardest time waking up. I had to force myself to get up. It was brutal. Kinda like in Alien 3 when Ripley has that chest burster ... umm, bursting out of her chest. *shrug* That sentence lost something in the translation from head to screen.
On a completely unrelated note, I bought a couple of movies from Amazon today. Lake Placid (both a classic and a favorite!), Posiedon Adventure (all part of the Adam Baldwin-a-thon. I swear!), and Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children (just because I want to see it). I also bought one of the Train albums because I like them. So, there.
I'm off to watch The Doctor.
