Since I stayed home today (the cold from hell, you know), I got some things done at Soulswallo. I updated Movies through March. I'm not sure if I got ALL the movies I watched in February, but I remembered a fair portion. I also added more music to my iPod. I'm up to ... let me check ... 2137 songs as of this moment, but I'm adding a CD as I type, so that'll change. I've started 3 new playlists ... a new BSG, a new Firefly and one dedicated to Stephen King's The Dark Tower. I have playlists for both BSG and FF, but they're the actual music for both shows. So, new playlists. Because I need more things to wrap my mind around. Speaking of my iPod, I've listened to over 100 songs today. That might not be a lot to some, but if I'm listening on the computer (which I have been) I have to share my time with the fam. 100 songs is very good. Woot!

I had my mom make coffee because I was feeling sleepy earlier and obviously I have to stay awake tonight because FINALES! Yeah, I'm already wired. Fangirl moment - Eeeee! I'm very excited about BSG and SGA and SG1! Maybe it's just the coffee talking, but I can barely sit still! /fangirl moment

It snowed in San Jose today. They had to shut down the highway over the summit into Santa Cruz. We're so Californian here that it's the top news story on every single station. The snow's neat and all but that wind is making it damn cold. Cole's dad and I walked over to Cole's school for Cole's conference (did I just use Cole's name an inordinate amount of times?) and the wind was ... brrr. And for everyone who actually lives where it's cold and snows, don't mock me. I'm not used to this sort of weather. However, I did leave the jouse with both a sweatershirt and a jacket on. That's saying something. I think.

Cole's conference? Went very well. He just needs to work on not talking quite as much in class. But he's exactly where he should be. Not to brag (yeah, right) but he's actually a little ahead in reading. I take full credit for that. Why? Because I contributed to half of his genes and I read like the wind. Like.the.wind.

I have the feeling that I've gone on enough.
Think about me as I'm standing on the soccer field tomorrow at 9 for Cole's game. Imagine me shivering because I never dress properly for cold weather. :)
