More, more, more

Okay. Basically I'm playing with cropping right now. That means that there isn't much in the way of text, no brushes, etc. I liked the coloring in the original picture so I didn't mess around with that either.

It's the perfect time of day ...

I guess I could have added these 3 puny little icons to my earlier post but I kinda feel like being spammy.

Okay, so jenahna and her son came over today and Jenn and I played around with Photoshop. I'm so incredibly jealous of the way she can create icons and other lovely graphics. She makes it seem so effortless (I can hear what you're saying right now, Jenn, and you do make it look very easy. Damn you.). In a nutshell, she showed me some fun little tricks that I decided to try out on my own. Here are the results ...

My favorite of the bunch - another River icon.


Deciding that I liked the effects on the River icon, I dabbled with the GoF pic that I made the earlier icons with and came up with something completely different. I do like how the coloring turned out on this one, but I'm not sure if the text is anything special.


Being nothing if not predictable, I fooled around with the Aeon Flux promo pics that I made icons from a week or so ago. I like that touch of purple in the background.
