I'm in the pissiest mood right now. Cole went over to his dad's earlier and he's been a BEAR since he came back. A BEAR. Complete with growling and whining. This is a pattern I've been noticing lately. Spend time with the pop, come home with an attitude. Annoying.

The DVDs that I won to fulfill the terms of the Bet a couple of months back have finally arrived. The animated Tick! Hee! Hours of off-the-wall fun. Hours. I also scored The Postman (post-apocalyptic fun) because the price dropped on The Tick and it was only fair. Wasn't it, [livejournal.com profile] ebarnon? Wasn't it?

I have plans to hang with [livejournal.com profile] kimbrchick tomorrow. Word. I have to find some good movies to introduce her to. I know she hasn't seen The Terminator movies, but I just watched all three of those within the last 2 weeks (or so) and I don't know if I'm in the mood to watch them again so soon. Hmm ... what to watch? We watched the X-Men movies last time. We watched Aliens one of the times before that. There's always the Evil Dead series. Except that Amb and Phil borrowed the first movie. Hmm ... still a possibility. I mean, the 2nd movie is basically a remake of the 1st. More or less. *looks off into the distance* Definitely a possibility.

All this movie talk has improved my mood. Maybe it was just thinking about the fabulous Bruce Campbell. "Gimme some sugar, baby." Ha! Speaking of which, the fabulous Mr. Campbell has a new movie coming to DVD in the near-ish future. The Woods. I'll be buying it! You should too.

Okay. I've worked myself out of my funk. I just might be in the mood to finally clean up one of the Firefly stories I wrote ages ago so that it's suitable for public consumption. Or I might throw in my new copy of The Tick and be boring. I'm just not sure at this point.

I'm stumped. We'll have to take a good long look at my collection and then decide.

I hope you guys have a ton of fun. And I KNEW I should have some how gotten her present from me into your hands to deliver. I'm sorry that Cole is having transition issues after all of the stimuli from hanging with Dad. Whenever Alex and I go somewhere or he goes alone and has a ton of fun, then when he gets home - it is totally quiet time as he decompresses. That's it. And it works.

Mostly.
