The day is nearly over ...
Cole's birthday party went very well. Of course, we had too much food. Way too much. Cole had one minor meltdown (it's not a birthday party without someone crying!) but managed to pull it together. He got toys. We had cake. The ice cream was delicious. And to top the entire thing off, I made the best guacamole I've ever tasted. Seriously.
Randomly, I need to make the effort to be a better friend. Not in the sense of "being a friend" but I have to remember to keep in contact with my friends on a more regular basis. They're awesome and I miss them something fierce when I'm in one of my anti-social moods.
That said, I'm going to try to wrangle an early day on Friday to go catch Pirates of the Caribbean with a bunch of those friends. Word.
I'm very tired. Very, very tired. I've also had to dose myself twice with allergy medication today. I was dying earlier. The second dose seems to have helped bunches. Yay!
I'm off to bed.
