I left work a little early today. Kinda. I mean, I didn't get a lunch so it really wasn't early. It was more like a really late lunch that I happened to take just before I went home. Right? Yeah.

I do believe I have a little wrapping to do tonight. I don't like wrapping but in some ways it's mindless and soothing. Measure, cut, wrap, tape, ribbon, repeat.

I had to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy today and as I was walking back to my car it sounded like a million birds were chirping at once. Yet I couldn't see any birds. Weird. It was so loud and varied that it reminded me of a fake rain forest. Yes, a fake rain forest. I know! Weird!

This morning Hailey was so grumpy and out of sorts that I had to hold her down while Heather got her dressed. She was like a wild tiger in my arms. I feared for my life.

i watched the last hour of 'the triangle'. i liked it. better than 'taken'? no. but it's much better than anything else scifi can mini-series. 'terminal invasion' not included, that was pure genius.

I left work early yesterday, too. We got LOTS and LOTS of snow, rain, sleet and ice. Fun, fun. I wanted to get Lucas home as fast as possible so I didn't have to worry with it.
