Guys. I wrote today. WROTE. Of course, it wasn't any of the 2 partial stories nor the one I'm editing, but I WROTE!
Working title: Zompocalypse
Yes. It is about zombies. Thank you for asking.
I have no idea how long this is going to be, I just had this vague idea. And when I say "vague" I mean that I knew where I wanted it to start and end but I wasn't quite sure of the middle stuff. So I'm aiming for 10K words at this point and if that pans out and possibly looks like it's going to be a little more wordy... well, I'll just go with it.

Just for fun:
I do like those zombies. They're so fun to write.
Anyway. Books.
Book #9 - Tithe (The Modern Faerie Tales #1) by Holly Black - Wow. I'd read this originally back in 2009 and decided to pick it up in preparation for reading the next 2 in the series as part of a challenge read. I loved this. Gritty and dark and fabulous in one little book.
Book #10 - Valiant (The Modern Faerie Tales #2) by Holly Black - Why did I put this book off for so long? Love!
Waiting on Wednesday - Shadowfever - Already pre-ordered, babies. I can't stay away from Barrons!
Okay. I'm in the middle of a fun Zombie-themed YA novel. Must get back to it now.
Later.

Just for fun:
Back in my room, I pulled on an old faded t-shirt and climbed into bed. I tried to sleep but every time I closed my eyes I saw that empty leash and the blood and stuff that had been on the man’s jacket. My imagination was running away from me and it kept going through a horrid mental loop of the man dropping his briefcase so he could claw at Devon as he went out on his run. I should have said something. Anything. Given him a verbal jab to make him more observant. Told him that I thought a guy was following me home.
