I will agree with you on the Bill vs Eric thing. Book 3 was when this series went from 'alright' to 'hey what's happening next with Sookie and Eric'. He gets more and more awesome as the series progress, favorite male by far. I agree, he's such a breath of fresh air from mopey Bill and I also dont see what Sookie sees in Bill at all.
