My sister kinda hurt my feelings. She didn't do this intentionally. Truly. She just has such a FREAKING LOUD voice that everything she says carries. And in this particular instance she was talking about me. Or, more to the point, the way that my parenting skills differ from hers. I'm trying not to get all butt-hurt about it because I know my sister. She just finished taking a parenting class and those professionals who taught it must be telling the gospel truth (in her opinion) because they have degrees. Or whatever. Never mind that there are a million and two different theories on child-rearing out there. And never mind that no one theory will ever work for every single child out there.

I guess that what's bugging me is the righteous tone she gets in her voice.

I don't want to think about it anymore.

Last night's Heroes episode was called LIZARDS, right? The book I'm reading right now has goblins that are descended from lizards. These goblins lick their own eyeballs all the time. When they were talking about lizards in the episode, I kept imagining Claire licking her eyeballs. That's kinda gross. And disturbing. Yep, really disturbing.

I'm going to watch TV now.
